Obituary of Robert Taylor

ROBERT JAMES TAYLOR Robert James Taylor passed away peacefully on June 21, 2012 in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the age of 80. Bob, as he was known by his family and friends, was born on November 23, 1931 in Cresco, Iowa to Carl and Naomi Mary (Dalton) Strock. Bob worked for General Telephone for over 40 years and was very dedicated to his employer. Bob and his wife Lana made Lake Havasu City their new home 12 years ago. Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Lana Taylor; daughter Randi Shively of Bullhead City, AZ; sons Cory Taylor of Bullhead City, AZ and Cole Taylor of Sparks, NV; sisters Jerilyn Clausi of Washougal, WA and Karen Hazard of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren Taryn, Christopher, Michael, Randy, Bo, Cierra, Hayley, Aaron and Peyton; great grandchildren Kaylynn, Anna, Zadee, Jonathan and Aiden as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. He was loved by his entire family and will be missed by all. Services are to be held on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. Rosary will be said at 10:30 AM followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bob's "Angels" at Hospice of Havasu PO Box 597 Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405.
