Obituary of Allen Asendorf

ALLEN D. ASENDORF January 13, 1942 - June 29, 2012 Allen Asendorf passed away peacefully while in the comfort care of Hospice of Havasu, the Polidori House on June 29 at the age of 70. Allen served in various administrative positions in public education for over 25 years, retiring from Hesperia Unified School District in California as Assistant Superintendent, Business Services in 2000. He spent the next two years serving as Interim Superintendent of Schools for Rancho Cucamonga School District and Silver Valley School District before officially retiring in Lake Havasu in 2003. He enjoyed working for several years at London Bridge Golf Course where he made many friends. He had a good life in Lake Havasu boating, golfing, jeeping and camping with wonderful friends. Allen is survived by his wife and best friend of 26 years, Julie; stepson Mark; daughters Kimberly and Johnna; son Christian and five grandchildren. Allen will be deeply missed by his family and friends who will never forget his sense of humor.
