Obituary of Jennifer Renea Smith

Jennifer Renea Smith, died Sunday, January 14, 2024, at KRMC in Kingman, Arizona, surrounded by family. Born December 28, 1973 in DeQueen, Arkansas, she was the youngest of three children of Ralph Evans and Sherry (Miller) Evans. She spent most of her childhood in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. The family later moved to Burlington, Iowa, where she graduated from high school. She was married in 1993, they divorced two years later in 1995. She worked a variety of jobs in Iowa including: housekeeping, processing plants, manufacturing plants, and waitressing. After moving to Arizona, she worked at American Woodmark for sixteen years. Jennifer was a free spirit spending most of her time with close friends, riding quads, relaxing on the beach, camping and fishing. Her favorite character was Mickey Mouse, even making that the only tattoo she had. She is survived by her mother Sherry of Bullhead City, Arizona, her son Alexander Evans Kingman, Arizona, her step mother, Wendy Evans Fort Mohave, Arizona, two sisters, Debbie (Jack) Hiestand-Larabee of Temecula, California, Becky (Bobby) Norton of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, her nieces and nephews Megan Bottcher, Erika Interior, Mike Norton, Samantha Westercamp, and her special friend Kevin Gisewhite. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, her father, and a niece. The organization near and dear to Jennifer’s heart was the Big Brothers, Big Sisters so in lieu of flowers, the family has established a memorial in Jennifer’s name. https://www.bbbs.org/donate/ A celebration of life will be held February 3, 2024, at the clubhouse in Longridge 55+ mobile home park in Bullhead City, Arizona at 1 PM.
