John Suslovic passed away on August 8, 2012 at his home in Lake Havasu City at the age of 72. John was born on September 22, 1939 in McKees Rock, PA to John and Victoria (Karkoski) Suslovic.
John proudly served his country in the United States Navy, following high school graduation, on May 1, 1958 and was Honorably Discharged on June 1, 1962.
John then went to work for Rockwell International and retired in 1981 as their Director of Service and Distribution. He was then transferred to Lake Havasu City by the McCulloch Corporation. John enjoyed golfing, traveling and family gatherings and was very proud of his Military Service. He was very much loved and will be truly missed.
John is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Judith Suslovic, daughter Sharon Spittal and her husband John of Waddell, AZ; son John Suslovic and his wife Dawn of San Diego, CA; daughter Lori Curry and her husband Michael of Paducah, KY; daughter Annette Dilts and her husband Mark of Las Vegas, NV, brother Gregory Suslovic of Ohio, sisters Jacqueline Connor of Panama City, FL; Kathleen Goor of California, Deborah Suslovic of California and Barbara Loreski of Etna, PA, grandchildren Courtney, Tiffany, Matthew, Carrie, Elizabeth, Melisa, Stacey and Nathan and great grandchildren Rylee, Emma, Avianna and Sylar. John was preceded in death by his parents John and Victoria, brother Gilbert Suslovic and sister Nancy Cihan.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday August 11, 2012 at 3:00 PM at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home with Deacon Patrick Toilolo offering words of comfort. Military Honors will follow provided by the Lake Havasu Detachment #757 of the Marine Corps League. Interment will follow at a later date at The National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
