Obituary of Crestita Abagat McKenzie

Crestita Abagat McKenzie, 79, of Kingman, Arizona, passed away on October 30, 2023, after a battle with sepsis. Crestita Abagat McKenzie was born on October 27, 1944, to Apolinario Abagat and Petrona Regala Abagat in Nubua, Camarines Sur, Philippines. She graduated from Columban College in Barreto, Philippines with a bachelor’s in accounting. After graduation, she worked as an accountant at Clark Naval base in Subic, Philippines. In 1986, she met Captain Wesley D. McKenzie, and they wed on January 7, 1987, going on to have one child, Gladice Cris McKenzie. When Crestita had Gladice, she decided to dedicate her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother. Crestita McKenzie wanted nothing more than to support her family through the many passions and difficulties of their lives. She was always known for helping anyone excel in their education or career path. Crestita McKenzie was a free-spirited soul and when she wasn’t filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be found in Las Vegas living her best life. She is survived by Wesley McKenzie, Gladice McKenzie, Honoria Dufresne and many more. A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 11, 2023, at 1:20pm at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
