David Milton Heusinkveld
May 17, 1941 – October 26, 2023
David M. Heusinkveld quietly passed away on October 26th, 2023, at the age of 82, after a period of declining health in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He was born May 17, 1941, to Milton and Dorothy (Freer) Heusinkveld. He graduated from Fulton High, Illinois in 1960. He was a volunteer fireman at the Fulton Fire Department in IL., member of the Lyon’s Club, owner and operated Heusinkveld Electric and House of Lightning in Fulton, Illinois.
He married the love of his life, Jean Seesser on July 2, 1977, and moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona, in August 1977 to start a new chapter in their lives. He was a longtime member of the Elks Lodge and an original member of the Eagles Lodge. He worked for McAfee Guthrie, Sam Nichols Electrical Inc, and Sterilite. When he retired, he worked for Londonderry Realty Inc and did many side jobs for many people. He enjoyed midget racing in his early years, Nascar, camping, boating, fishing, and spending time and giving advice in his garage with friends. He was a very hard worker and a friend to many.
David is preceded in death by his parents; Milton and Dorothy, brother-in-law; LeRoy Gossard, niece; Pam Swanson, and dog; Lola.
David is survived by his loving wife of 47 years; Jean, sister; MaryAnn Gossard, children; Ann (Keith) Huff, Kimberly (Terry) Eyestone, Alan Seesser, Lori (Darren) Michaelsen, and Beth Heusinkveld, grandchildren; Zachary (Rachel) Huff, Tracy (Chris) Cady, Kenny (Rose) Mitchell, Katrina (Brandon) Mitchell, Amy (Jon) Eyestone, Chris (Xavia) Seesser, Heather Seesser, Lindsey (Tim) Hans, Alicia (Cole) Hartman, and Breann Michaelsen, great grandchildren; Kylee, Emily, Ethen, Hazelyn, Lily, Tyler, Kaitlyn, Maddox, Kendall, Mila (Bubbles), Whitney, Logan, Ella, Zander, Zeke, Kai, Atticus, Caspian, Phineas, Novella, Rylan, Grayson, Coltin, Addison and one great-great grandchild; Wesley, and many nieces and nephews. Our dad’s favorite saying is, “I’m fine”.
Services will be held on November 10, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home in Lake Havasu City. Services were entrusted to the care of Lietz-Fraze.
