Obituary of Wilkins Edgar Cook

In Loving Memory of Wilkins "Bill" Edgar Cook Wilkins "Bill" Edgar Cook, aged 87, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, September 30, 2023. He is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Patricia Cook, who stood by his side through a lifetime of love and companionship. Bill was a loving father to two children, Terri (husband Bart) Wolterman and Kenneth (wife Sharon) Cook. His dedication to his family was unwavering, and he took great pride in watching his family flourish and grow. He leaves behind four cherished grandchildren: Nicole, Wendy, Kayti, and Amanda, and their families, which include six great-grandchildren: Carson, Camryn, Emmie, Evan, Annzlee and Ollie. Bill was a man of compassion and generosity. He found joy in helping others whenever the opportunity arose. His selflessness touched the lives of many and left a lasting impression on those who knew him. Bill's commitment to his community and family was unparalleled. One of Bill's greatest passions was travel, and he reveled in exploring new places and experiencing different cultures alongside Pat. He also found camaraderie and joy in the Lake Havasu Car Club, "Over the Hill Gang," where he shared his love of classic cars with fellow enthusiasts. Above all, Bill cherished the moments spent with his great-grandchildren, attending their activities, and being an integral part of their lives. In addition to his immediate family, Bill is survived by his dear sister, Darlene Huggins, with whom he shared a lifetime of memories and sibling bonds and brother, Leroy Cook. Bill will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to family and community will live on in our hearts. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Havasu in Bill's honor. A memorial service to celebrate Bill’s life will be held at a later date.
