Ray was like a father to me. He and Kelly were my neighbors that lived across the street in Arvada, Colorado. He hired me on several occasions to help out with his auctions from running the computer, cashiering, marking items to just helping out where I could. He even paid my daughter Alisia to help out too. He would always take us out to eat lunch afterwards. He had a great sense of humor and we always enjoyed his talks. Alisia and I went to several baseball games with him, as well. Ray even babysat my son Kyle for me on occasion. I flew out to surprise him for his 80th birthday in Las Vegas and it was so nice to see him again. He will be greatly missed. Rest easy, Ray. All my Love,
Sherri

Every minute
Every minute someone leaves this world behind.
We're all in "the queue" without knowing it.
We will never know how many people are ahead of us.
We can't move to the bottom of the row.
We can't get out of line.
We can't avoid the queue.
So while we wait in line.
Make the moments count!
Make priorities.
Make the time.
Let your qualities be known.
Make people feel important.
Make your voice heard.
Make big things out of small things.
Make someone smile.
Make the change.
Make love.
Make Peace.
Get it together.
Make sure you tell your people you love them.
Make sure you have no regrets.
Make sure you're ready.
Very true.
Live life and let live, enjoy, be grateful,
don't waste time arguing,
fighting in doing bad things life is short,
live it,
be humble,
love yourself and be happy with what you have.

I knew Ray through his daughter, Shannon, whom I worked for at the auctions in Denver. When Ray would come to the car auctions, it was guaranteed we'd have a fun and enjoyable time at our work. Ray was funny, kind, and friendly, but also serious about the work. We enjoyed his presence whenever he visited Denver.
