Obituary of Daniel Townsend

Daniel Harrison Townsend, age 17, passed away on August 23, 2012. He was born and raised in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He loved the outdoors, motorcycle riding, Glamis, video games, jet skiing and especially candy. At a young age he was active in riding dirt bikes, played flag football, baseball, basketball, BMX and water sports. Daniel had a smile that could light up a room and a beautiful, optimistic outlook on life. Daniel has touched all of our lives and made a tremendous impact with his kindness, generosity and heartwarming smile. Daniel is survived by his parents: Paul Lamb and Tina Townsend-Lamb; sisters: Kayley Galati and Rachel Townsend; Grandmother: Cristina Lamb; Uncles: Mark Lamb [and family], Craig Townsend [and family]; Aunt: Lisa Townsend [and family]. Viewing will be at Lietz-Fraze Chapel Thursday, September 6, 2012 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM and Friday, September 7, 2012 from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held at the Aquatic Center in the Rods and Relics room at 2:00 PM a reception will follow the service. Daniel was a multiple organ donor with the Nevada Organ Donor Network.
