In reading my most recent edition of the University of Nebraska Quorterly, I noted with sadness the passing of a good friend of mine. Jim and I both started working at the Nebraska Department of Economic Development in the late 1960's. I had just returned from Vietnam and Jim had returned from a trip to Europe. I was often a guest for dinner at Jim and Sharon's home. They were good people, and I will always remember and cherish their friendship. Rest in Peace, my good friends. Jim was a colleague at Mohave Community College and I had the privilege of teaching with him for several years. Our paths also crossed as he was a great advocate of community theatre and supported Grace Arts Live. It has been an honor to know and respect Jim as someone who gives of himself to others.
