Obituary of Kenneth Arthur Bonsang
Please share a memory of Kenneth to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
On March 31, 2023, the world lost an amazing husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother, as well as a friend to all who knew and loved him.
Born to Arthur and Lynne Bonsang, Ken started his 61 years in Salem, Massachusetts, on February 7, 1962. In 1977, the family relocated to Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Ken was the oldest of three, followed by Darlene and his youngest brother, Todd. He graduated from Lake Havasu High School in 1980.
In 1982, Ken met the love of his life, Tina Teeple. They were married in 1984 and, soon after, opened Ken’s Pizza (1986). Ken’s Pizza has now been in business for 37 years! In 1987, Ken and Tina welcomed their first son, Cody, and in 1989 their second son, Dillon, arrived. Cody married Christina Semmens in 2016. Ken and Tina welcomed their first grandchild, Camden James, in 2019 and their second, Charlotte Marie, in 2021. Ken had an absolute love of family and loved being a Papi (Grandpa) to his grandchildren! Ken was blessed with being able to see his youngest son, Dillon, find and fall in love with his girlfriend, Aleeya Owens, prior to his leaving us.
For many years, Ken was a part of numerous clubs and organizations. He loved the people and the town he grew up in.
Ken had a larger-than-life personality; you could feel Ken walk into a room! He had an amazing smile and a contagious laugh. He enjoyed time with his family and friends; it did not matter if it was camping, riding in his side-by-side, or Jeeping, he was always ready to have fun. One of his biggest passions was riding his Harley with Tina on the back!
There are no words to say how much Ken will be missed by his family and friends.
A memorial celebration of life is planned for Sunday, June 25, 10:00 a.m., at the Lake Havasu City Aquatic Center, 100 Park Avenue, Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
