Obituary of Carol Joyce Reece

Carol Joyce Reece, 83, passed away on May 7, 2023, in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. She was born on May 4, 1940, in Riverside, California to Leo and Dorothy Read. Carol graduated from Fruitland High School, in Fruitland, Idaho, in 1958. She was married to the love of her life, Don Reece, in Fruitland, before moving to Lake Havasu City in 1965 and went to work for the McCulloch Corporation. She worked there for 51 weeks but was excited for the chance to be a stay-at-home mom. Carol loved spending time with her husband, babies, and her church family. She also enjoyed sewing, crafting, cooking, nature and being outside gardening. Carol attended First Baptist Church and enjoyed serving by teaching Sunday School, Ladies Bibles Study and Vacation Bible School. She also enjoyed being a part of the Christian Youth Workers Roundtable for several years. Carol is survived by her Husband Don; Sons Rick (Chandra) and Troy; Daughters Robin (Jim) and Tracey (Joe); Brother Wayne (Dawn); 8 Grandchildren; 14 Great-Grandchildren and several beloved Cousins and her extended church family. She is preceded in death by her Parents Leo and Dorothy. A Celebration of Life will be held in Carols honor on June 2, 2023, at 4:00pm at First Baptist Church, 1535 El Camino Drive, Lake Havasu City, Arizona. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice of Havasu.
