Jack M Graham, 81, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on April 15, 2023, after a long struggle with cancer and heart trouble. He leaves behind his wife, daughter, 6 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
Jack was born in Michigan. He attended school in Yorkville, MI and graduated high school from Glendale High in 1959. He then went to West Point, got hurt and came home to PX and married Joanne. They were married 14 years, and had 3 children, Kellie, Holly, and Eric. Jack worked as a carpenter for the union and taught carpentry as well. He attended the University of Cal Irvine and graduated in 1970. From there he went to Talbot Seminary and completed his masters.
He met and married Royette in 1982 in OR. They had 41 wonderful years together. Jack went back into the US Army National Guard full time and completed 21 ½ years of service. After retirement, he worked for the Boy Scouts as District Executive out of Las Vegas. He then worked for the Baptist Pulpit Supply after being ordained by Dennis, at College Park in Kingman, AZ. That part time on call position led him from Meadview, AZ to Bouse and many other places in AZ. He continued to travel the state until his health required him to quit.
Jack’s family Army legacy of service ranges from The Civil War, WWII, Desert Storm to Iran and Afghanistan with his grandson, Major Adam, who is retiring from the Army after 20 years of service. At the time of Jack’s death, he was a life member of the Masons and Eastern Star in Newberg, OR, a member of the Elks and the Moose in Kingman, AZ. He was also a member of Meadview Baptist Church.
Arrangements were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
