Gordon was my manager when I worked for Flying Tigers in the Maintenance Publications Department in the early 1980’s.

I will always remember Gordon in Spain over 20 years ago for my wedding. He was such a good sport at our family party the day before--after throwing several guests in the pool it was soon his turn. He was laughing harder than anyone--I think he secretly just waiting for someone to throw him in.
During the tour of Spain we had put together for the family his knees sometimes made it hard for him to walk too much but he didn't complain--he was happy to sit in a tavern waiting for us to come back as long as we kept a few beers in front of him to keep him cool.
I have great memories of him from that trip as well as another he made to visit me in Prague when we traveled around the Czech Republic and Poland. I am sorry not to have been able to see him the last few years, but the memories of those times together are still fresh in my mind.
