We Loved Chuck's smile. He was always welcoming with his smile and a hug. One extra special occasion was when he was in Washington for Christmas and came to our house with Roger and helped us make Swedish potato sausage!

Some people are memorable after just one meeting! Chuck was one of those folks. I was lucky when in 2018 Patty invited me and another friend to stay a few days in Lake Havasu with her and her dad. Chuck’s sense of humor and generosity are legendary. My condolences to the family.

Chuck was a wonderful man: He was always fun, engaging, willing to help, encouraging and an positive force for the good of others. Chuck's roots gave him a blue collar heart: yet his intelligence made him, King among the common man. As an High Boeing Executive, Chuck counseled, instructed and cheered me on: in my quest for Boeing employment, which was successfully achieved. Chuck and I enjoyed joking together, countless memories of fun and laughter. We did have one bad disagreement, on which I conceded to Chuck's way of thought. Chuck, Marie and family have saw me though life's lessons with a willing to forgive and forget. I am grateful and humbled to my core as we have continued to cherish our family bond.
