John Sparks 84 a longtime resident of Lake Havasu, passed away peacefully at home with his wife Tammie and best friends, Art and Erna by his side. John was born in Chicago, Illinois to Cleon Sparks and Helen Gagnon. John and His mother moved to California where he attended school in Burbank, California. John met his wife Tammie when they both worked at Sears Roebuck in Glendale, California. He was working part time while attending college. After dating for 2 years they were married in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1962. Tammie’s parents lived in Las Vegas and loved John very much. John worked for Bank of America trust department for many years in managerial positions. After retirement He and Tammie moved to the Colorado River where they had enjoyed vacations for many years. In 1988 they moved to Lake Havasu City, in the hot summers they traveled the USA in their motor home. John was a member of the Elks, American Legion and The Eagles. In his younger years he enjoyed boating, water skiing, golfing and hanging out with his many friends. John is survived by his wife of 60 years, Tammie Sparks of LHC. Per Johns request there will be no services held. He will be greatly missed. Till we meet again my love.
