Carl Ray Fullam 2/15/1937 - 3/5/2023
Our beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather passed away peacefully on Sunday March 5th surrounded by his loving family.
Carl was 86 years old and is survived by his precious wife of 68 years, Patricia Porter Fullam, his daughter Sherrie (Tom) Miles, his sons Douglas (Heather) Fullam and Michael Fullam, his 8 Grandchildren, Justin (Susan) Biggs, Jamie Biggs Field, Brandon (Michelle) Fullam, Carly Fullam, Brooke Fullam, Lindsey (Eric) Fricke, Eric Fullam and Grant Fullam and 10 Great Grandchildren.
He was born to Mary and Fred Fullam in China Grove, North Carolina. He had a wonderful childhood with 3 sisters and 1 older brother. He enjoyed a childhood that would leave him with a lifetime of great stories that were told for generations.
He met his lifelong love Patricia Porter and after one year were married at 17 and 16 years old. They moved to California one year later where they raised three children in Whittier, CA. Carl worked as a press supervisor at the LA Times for 38 years. After retiring he wanted a few good years of fishing on the lake so he moved to Lake Havasu City in October of 1999 to join his sons Doug and Michael. Later his daughter Sherrie joined him and they call Lake Havasu home.
Carl loved to workout at the gym with his buddies and did so until the age of 84. He also enjoyed fishing, camping and watching the beautiful sunsets off his back patio.
He will forever be in our hearts and will see him in the sunsets.
In lieu of flowers you may send a donation in Carls' name to Beacon of Hope Hospice at 1760 McCulloch Blvd N, Lake Havasu City, AZ. 86403.
