Nancy Jo Stoway passed away in Lake Havasu City AZ on January 31, 2023. She was born to Howard and Johanna Simon on August 23, 1950.
She was born in Toledo Ohio where she met her husband Paul Stoway and they married May 23, 1986.
In 1993 they retired and moved to Arizona where they built their dream home.
Nancy was district president of United Methodist Women for 10 years. She was active in her church at St. Michael’s United Methodist Church. She lead classes at Celebrate Recovery, was involved in Walk to Emmaus, was in charge of all aspects at Helping Hands, an axillary member at VFW, enjoyed her Bible study and was an avid prayer warrior.
Nancy is survived by her husband Paul Stoway and his daughter Jaqueline Tupper of Washington, Brother John Simon of Ohio, and sister Carol Garber of Indiana.
Nancy has left behind Nieces and Nephews, Brandon (Alicia) Garber of Kokomo, Indiana. Jerron (Kim) Garber of Ft. Wayne Indiana, and Ashlin Hadden of Noblesville, Indiana.
Great Nieces and Nephews: Declan and Isla Garber, Alexander and Aidan Wessendorf. Jacob, Ethan, and Brianna Garber. Gavin and Coltin Hadden.
Nancy had an extended family in Lake Havasu, Az that included Jason, Sativa, Nevaeh and Kole Castellucci. She will be greatly missed by her friends and church family.
Services will be held at St. Michaels UMC on February 10, 2023 at 11:00 am
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Michaels UMC parking lot fund or the charity of your choice.
