Joshua William James Blake
May 8, 1980- August 2022
Josh Blake was taken from us too soon at the age of 42. Josh was born May 8th, 1980, he spent much of
his early years on the mountain with his dad, he loved exploring nature and building “helping papa.”
Josh then lived in California with his grandma Lila who helped raise him. Josh moved to Arizona as a teen
and established his home in Kingman with his dad. Josh worked in construction for many years; he also
cared for his dad as he got older. Josh was a family man at heart and deeply loved all of his kids, he
worked very hard to provide for his kids.
Josh is survived by his children, Lisa, Richard, William, Taylore, Pacific, Daydin, and Kaysin; his grandson’s
Jacob and Charles, his sisters (Lila/Sarah) and Julie, and his brother Jesse. Josh is also survived by Jessica
(Daydin and Kaysin’s mom), Pamela (Richard’s mom), his best friend Aaron (who was like a brother to
him), and Aaron’s mom Mary (who treated Josh like a son). Josh also leaves behind many nieces and
nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins that he loved dearly. Josh was proceeding in death by his dad James
Blake and his grandma Lila.
A celebration of life is being planned and will be held at a later date.
