Obituary of Carol Lynn Alf-Rogers

Please share a memory of Carol to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Carol Lynn Alf-Rogers, age 77, passed away in Lake Havasu City, AZ on December 1, 2022. She was born to Irvin Alf and Evelyn Rossman in Rawlins, WY, on March 10, 1945. Carol worked as a teacher for Special Education and Art. Her students were very important to her. Every year her students made pins for her and as she had so many and didn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings if they saw her out and about, she started wearing several hats all covered in those pins she held dear. Even after she no longer worked for the school, she remained very active in everything they did. She did a lot of work for the Special Olympics and beamed with pride as her students participated. She was an amazing artist. She was an avid crafter and loved making homemade cards. Carol was an amazing human. She was loved by all. She never forgot a birthday and always had some kind of gift for everyone. She made crafts each month for the teachers of the school she worked for, and anyone else who wanted one. She made an impact on everyone she met, and will be missed by many. Carol is preceded in death by her loving husband, Allan Rogers, and parents, Evelyn Rossman and Irvin “Bud” Alf. She is survived by her daughter, Samantha, who will cherish the memories she has of her amazing mother.
