Julie Kirkpatrick-Sleppy July 25, 1966 - April 11, 2014 Our beloved Julie left this earth much too soon on April 11, 2014 with family by her side. She was born on July 25, 1966 and grew up in Orange, Ca. Julie graduated from Orange High School in 1984. She married her high school sweetheart, Michael Sleppy on September 20, 1986 and moved to Big River, Ca. where they raised two beautiful daughters. At the end of their 20 year marriage Julie moved to Parker, Az., where she met her soul mate, Terry L. Glenn. She enjoyed many happy years living near the river, boating, fishing and family gatherings. Julie's generous and happy spirit touched many, she rejoiced in life. Her infectious personality and desire to give so much of herself to all whom she loved will be most fondly remembered. Julie is survived by the love of her life, Terry L. Glenn, her daughter Michelle Sleppy Chu and husband Ethan, daughter Jillian Sleppy, father James Kirkpatrick, mother Jeanne Grochow and step-father Tom Grochow, brother Joel Kirkpatrick and wife Erica and their children Rylee, Jace and Clain, step sisters Kam Bailey and Kelly Fresch, plus a supportive extended family including many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Julie's life will be celebrated on the banks of the Colorado River at Castle Rock Shores in Parker, Az. on April 26, 2014 at 5:00pm. Services will be officiated by Chaplain Sandra Johnson. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to: Hospice of Havasu, Lake Havasu, Az. or the American Cancer Society in Julie's name.
