Please share a memory of Mary Lou to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Mary Lou lived with a smile on her face, love in her heart and music in her soul. Her zest and appreciation for life was contagious as her life was filled with so many happy family memories. She spent her first day in heaven on 12-5-2022 after a long battle with cancer. Born April 18th, 1938, to Michael and Lillian Jacobs in St. Cloud Minnesota. She grew up in the town of South Gate in Southern California. She is survived by her loving husband Roger Ellis of 43 years. He was the love of her life and she the love of his. She enjoyed working in the medical profession, was a licensed LVN and worked at several medical practices. She also had a catering business which was inspired by her love of cooking. Mary Lou especially loved her large family, parties, home decorating, her wonderful dog Bear, long drives and good movies with popcorn. She leaves behind 10 children, her daughter Sherry Gregoire, Lori Sanchez, Lindy Collins, Shelly Smith, Kathy Ellis, Dorie Walker, Patty Rodriguez and her sons Steven Gregoire, Michael Gregoire and Steve Ellis. She was blessed with 20 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. A memorial gathering will be held at a later date to celebrate her amazing life.
