Judith (Judy) Marie Miller, 83 years old, went home to be with Jesus, on November 11, 2022. She was born to Thore and Alexandra (Sandy) Bjorklund in Duluth, Minnesota. She graduated from Central High School, in Duluth. She kept in touch all these years with a group of close friends from grade school in Homecroft. Judy moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona in 1974. In 1976, she met and married Loyd (Sonnie) Miller Jr. They shared 46 years together. She is survived by her loving husband Sonnie Miller; sister Edie VanCamp; daughter Bonnie (Kevin) Rule; step-sons Dennis(Angie) Miller; Tim (Melinda) Miller; Ronnie Miller; step-daughters Denice Miller; and Sharon Miller. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Steven Portugal; Luke (Katie) Portugal; Samantha Rule; Brianna Rule; and Alex Ruler. Many great-grandchildren and step grandchildren. Judy was close to her nephews and piece; Ted Heinonen; Terry (Carol)Heinonen; Tom Heinonen; Tim (Carolyn) Kaiser; Tyler (Beth) Kaiser; Jennifer VanCamp. She is preceded in death by her parents Thore and Sandy Bjorklund; step-daughter Christina Miller; half-sisters Joan Spritzer and Carole Kendzora. Judy was very talented in many areas. She could play the harmonica, and accordion. She won ribbons in the county fair for her art work and food creations. She was an excellent cake decorator. Making cakes for family and friends, as well as teaching decorating classes. Some of her jobs in the Duluth area include working at Woolworths, and as a secretary at The College of St. Scholastica. In Arizona, she worked at the Sears catalog store for about 10 years. Judy and her husband Sonnie worked for a few years selling their products at swap meets in the area. They enjoyed traveling to Minnesota and fishing in Mexico, and doing some camping in their R.V. Also in her retirement years, she became involved in scrapbooking and card making and she taught many classes. Her students enjoyed her delicious meals she would serve during class. Judy was a very giving and caring person. If you needed something she would find it. She loved her family and her church family. She enjoyed Christmas. One of her favorite things to do was spend time with her grandkids and great-grandkids. Fixing many family holiday meals. Hiding dozens of Easter eggs. Baking Christmas cookies. Celebration of Life services will be held at Victory Chapel; 1711 Mesquite Blvd. Lake Havasu City, AZ, on December 17, 2022 at 11 AM.
