Obituary of Denise Pierrette Nissen

Denise Pierrette Nissen passed away on November 25, 2022, in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born to Frank William Leopold Texier and Suzanne Georgette Yvonne Philippone on September 18, 1932, in La Rochelle, France. Denise married the love of her life, Arthur J. Nissen on December 21, 1956 in La Rochelle, France. They had three children; David Nissen, Roger Nissen, and Linda Donnellon. Together, they shared 63 wonderful years of marriage. Denise was a military wife and eventually she and her growing family moved to the United States and became a US citizen. She lived in Germany, New York, South Carolina, Virginia, Texas, Georgia, Florida, Colorado, and finally made it to Arizona. Denise was a member of the Ladies VFW Sewing Club. She practiced Tai-Chi at Titan Gym. She loved the Lord, and attended Our Lady of the Lake. Denise is preceded in death by her husband; Arthur J. Nissen, parents; Frank Texier and Suzanne Philippone, son; David Nissen, and sister; Yevette Mey. Denise is survived by her sister; Arlette Boislard, son; Roger Nissen(Donna), daughter Linda Donnellon(Rick), daughter-in-law; Sherry Nissen(David), grandchildren; Ian Nissen, Tyler Nissen, Megan Texier Nissen, Tim McGuire, Diedre Blancarte(Andrew), and Chase Nissen, great-grandchildren; Delaney McGuire, Peyton McGuire, and Delilah Blancarte.
