Ed was a loyal Wildcat supporter who regularly visited and volunteered his help in many capacities during my 6 years as Alpena AD. He was very instrumental as a committee member helping generate community donated funds for new scoreboard, lights, turf, and sound system in Wildcat stadium, as well as refurbishing Gillespie gym. He was also a generous supporter of both HS golf teams. Ed embraced Alpena athletics and will truly be missed!

Ed, Thanks for being a great role model and mentor. I would not have made it as a teacher without you helping me through my beginning years. You were always there for me and I really appreciated it. It was also fun to have the Michigan / Ohio State rivalry with you. THANK YOU

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time. I admired Mr. Buck a great deal, not only as a neighbor, but as my school counselor. He was always there to greet you with a smile and make you feel welcomed and important. I’m a better man because of his help and influence. We’re thinking of tne entire Buck family at this time.
