Obituary of Jean Elaine Hollenbach
Please share a memory of Jean to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Jean Hollenbach, 92, passed away peacefully at home on October 9, 2022. She was born on December 31, 1929 in Allentown, Pennsylvania to Calvin and Lillian Walck.
She worked for Western Electric- Lucent Technologies in Allentown, Pennsylvania for 25 years before retiring in 1993.
Upon her retirement in 1003, she moved from Pennsylvania to Lake Havasu City where she enjoyed the sunshine and blue skies! She loved to travel. She went on many cruises in her life. Each one was better than the last, she used to say! She loved boating on the lake here. She was a member of Titan gym for many years and enjoyed the camaraderie of her “Muffin Gang” girls. They would exercise and then go for coffee and muffins afterwards. She loved to walk at Rotary Park. She had a great group of friends and every week they would do happy hour specials and cocktails and head off to the local dance floor. You could always find her there. She was a member of both the Elks and the Eagles. Las Vegas and Laughlin were always favorite destinations-especially on her New Year’s Eve birthday. Jean loved and was loved by her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Raymond Hollenbach, parents; Calvin and Lillian, son; William Hollenbach, daughter; Susan Kester, and brothers; John, Luther, Donald, and Harold Walck.
She is survived by her daughter; Cheryl Kooker, grandson; Michael Bilski Jr, and 6 great-grandchildren; Kimmie, Zoey, Ziren, Inara, Loris, and Amelia.
