Obituary of June Dodd Butler

June Dodd Butler, 91, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, passed away on May 15, 2022. Memorial service will be held on October 15, 2022 at 1 to 3 PM in the Covenant Church Located at 113 Acoma Blvd, Lake Havasu City. Inurnment service will be held on October 16, 2022 at 8 AM in Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens. June was born in Preston, England, to Caroline and Ernest Dodd. She attended the Manchester Royal Infirmary where she graduated as a nurse-midwife. She worked as an ob/gyn nurse for Dr. Donald Nelson in Lake Havasu City. She enjoyed playing the slots, musical theater, dominoes, and tennis. June is survived by her children, Jane Butler (Nicholas Fontana) of Tucson, AZ, Jonathan Butler of Cornelius, North Carolina, Gina-Claire Castillo and Katriona Brownlow (David) of Portland Oregon, and daughter-in-law Kim Butler of Bullhead City, AZ. Also survived by her sisters, Maureen Stocks of Toronto, Canada, and Dorothy Walsh (Edgar) of Preston, England. She leaves behind nine grandchildren: Ian and Kyle Butler, Robert and George Butler, Carmen, Katriona and David Castillo, Natalie, Gina and Victoria Butler, and Mikaela Fontana. June is also survived by three great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. June is preceded in death by her husband Dr. Robert Butler of Lake Havasu City, AZ, son Simon Butler of Bullhead City, AZ, and brothers Ernest and Maurice Dodd, England.
