Obituary of Scott Leroy Montgomery

Scott Leroy Montgomery, entrepreneur, ladies’ man, foodie, businessman, social butterfly and accomplished traveler, passed on August 20, 2022, in his second home at Lake Havasu. Scott left behind his Mother Valerie, 2nd Mom Lois, his Son Jaxon, Sister Adrienne, Sister Kirstin and Brother Kevin. Scott was always thinking of how he could make a buck. As far back as middle school when he would buy nickel candy and sell it for a quarter at school. When in high school he progressed to selling sandwiches on lunch break to his buddies. He would have them all pile up in the back of his pickup and bring them to his house where they would all proceed to make their sandwiches while he collected $5 from each of them. Once he graduated, he immediately went to work in sales where he worked his way up. Not long after, he started his own business, Millennium Promotions. Scott soon was a multi business owner, in a variety of industries. Scott loved to travel and would spend his down time anywhere in the world he could find a ‘deal’. And boy did he seem to know someone everywhere! He was a great host and most often would have friends among him where he would cook fantastic food, paired with exceptional wine and cocktails. He had the best laugh; it was strong and genuine. Scott loved to be with his friends and share good food and drinks; and there were always guaranteed laughs. The women in his life were numerous. He especially fancied beautiful, smart, strong-willed women. Even at the youthful age of sixteen his sister was fending off her friends from her little brother. Scott’s two leading ladies who he especially loved were his two mothers. Valerie Nored and Lois Montgomery. Scott took extreme pride in his son Jaxon! (Jax 9) He could most often be heard bragging about Jaxon’s accomplishments and wisdom! He loved having Jax with him when he traveled (if not for business) and taking adventures with him. Jaxon, above anything, was his Pride and Joy. Scott always enjoyed being around friends and family. The more the merrier was certainly his way of thinking. He was calm, cool and easy going. Never in a hurry (not even when he had to catch a flight). You could often find him banging on his drums, mobbing in his side by side, boating, snowboarding, cooking, or eating out at a gourmet restaurant. He may have even coined the saying “work hard, play hard.” With a presence that could light up the room, a warm heart, kind smile and a vivacious laugh; Scott will certainly be missed. “Life is too short.
