Ruth was the youngest of 11 children. She married a military man and traveled the United States for many years. She resided in Newburgh, New York, where she volunteered in at-risk youth homes, until 2004 when she moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Ruth loved the lake and all the beautiful views of Lake Havasu. She volunteered for Hospice. She enjoyed Broadway shows and plays. She was a true fan of the arts. She was an amazing cook, and made the best homemade pasta sauce. During Christmas, she loved preparing the Feast of the Seven Fishes with her family. She has been reunited in Heaven with her husband Paul, her daughter Denise Young, and all of her siblings. During trying times, Ruth’s favorite saying was “And this too shall pass.” Her passing is an enormous loss to the world. She was an amazing and wonderful mom and friend. She will be truly missed by many, but in her particular, her son Paul and precious pup, Emmi who now lives with Paul.
