Obituary of Delores Jean Gilbert

Delores Jean Gilbert was born May 15, 1936 in Morgantown WV. She died April 27, 2022 in Lake Havasu City AZ. “Dee” as she was known by her friends was an animal (especially dogs) and nature lover. She was a good hearted person and very generous. She would give you her last dollar if you needed it. Dee was always there for her family and friends and was loved by her caregivers in her last years. Delores grew up in the country and her hearty meals were always enjoyed by her family. She could be outspoken at times but her loyalty never waivered. She moved to California when she was 12 years old and lived there until she was 77 years old. Her daughters brought her to Lake Havasu to make sure she was cared for in her old age. She is survived by two daughters Debra Henn and Rene Gilbert both residents of Lake Havasu City. She is also survived by three grandchildren Tyler Henn and Janelle, Blake Henn and Kim, and Kelsi Horner and Dave. She had five great grandsons- Kaiden, Cash, Zach, Declan and Liam. She will be greatly missed.
