Obituary of Eric Shufflebotham

Eric “Wheels” Shufflebotham was born in Culver City, California. He was an outgoing man who could light a room with smiles and laughter. Having an early diagnosis in life of cerebral palsy he learned to give life all it had and showed bravery and strength through and through. Nothing held Eric back from racing his Honda Odyssey to water skiing. He accomplished and conquered so many obstacles put in his way. Eric had a love for NASCAR and we knew every race Sunday that he would be watching. His love for Coca-Cola and chocolate was a long running family tale and he was always gifted with these treats. Eric was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Barbara Shufflebotham and survived by his brother Ryan (Jaimie) Shufflebotham, his niece Rory and nephews Graham and Vaughn. Through his life he had an abundance of love from his aunts, uncles, cousins, second cousins and godparents. Eric was cherished by many friends and he will be greatly missed by all. Services will be held May 1, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home, 21 Riviera Blvd. Please join us in celebrating the life of a great man.
