June 12, 1928 - March 31, 2022 Alfred Clarence Karnish passed away on March 31, 2022 at the age of 93 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He was born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey on June 12, 1928 to Andrew Karnish and Elizabeth Hellisick. He married the love of his life, Mary Josephine Gizzi, on September 2, 1950, and together they spent 69 wonderful years together. Alfred was a proud WW II army veteran and served his country in the military (MP) police. Together they had two children, Glenn Karnish, his wife Veronna Karnish, and daughter Patricia Barber. In his youth, he was an avid body-builder and weight-lifting enthusiast. During summer months he and his family would spend time together at the New Jersey shore fishing and swimming. He also enjoyed sailing with his son on Sandy Hook Bay. After 39 years as the youngest foreman for Anderson Roofing, he finally retired to Lake Havasu City with his wife Mary. Together they enjoyed taking walks along the lake and spent nights watching their favorite sport football. Alfred has left us to join his loving wife; Mary Karnish, his parents; Andrew and Elizabeth Karnish, along with his brother William Karnish, who are waiting for him in Heaven.
