Obituary of "Sasha" Toll
Please share a memory of "Sasha" to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
As I was leaving work in downtown Fargo North Dakota 2009 Labor Day weekend, there stood a very skinny but beautiful German Shepard I couldn’t find an owner so I turned her into the humane society in which I would have to wait 3-5 days for the owner to claim her since it was Labor Day weekend, I had to wait an additional day. After the 6th day of me wondering if I was going to get her the call came in and I was able to pick her up.
So down to the humane society I went, after picking her up I took her to the vet which he told me she was about 1-2 years old and she was a purebred German Shepard. I went ahead and put her into obedience school from beginner to novice training as well as therapy dog training.
I have had ptsd for years little did I know she would be able to calm me down before I went into a panic attack. The last six years since moving to Lake Havasu I've had a medical condition come up which at times I was not able to balance, get up or even walk Sasha helped me by pulling me up the hills when I thought I couldn’t make it.
Sasha and I would fly to Minnesota for 3 months in the summer to our lake house. Sasha loved being on the pontoon, she loved seeing and chasing all the chipmunks, bunnies and squirrels, she disliked turtles she would get so scared and tremble seems like turtles were the only thing she was afraid of.
I will miss my smart and pretty girl Sasha rip 2008-2022
