Obituary of Don Vaughn

Don Leon Vaughn passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2012 in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the age of 80. Don was born in Terre Haute, IN on February 15, 1932 to Carvel and Velma Vaughn. After High School, Don became a pipe fitter, a career that would span 40 years. Don worked for Local 157 in Terre Haute and moved to Covina, CA where he was a member of Local 250 in Los Angeles. Don retired in 1993 and relocated in Parker, AZ. He loved boating on the lake, exploring the desert in his dune buggy, traveling in his RV, all the people and friends he made at Hillcrest Bay and being a handyman. Don is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Virginia; daughters Dale A. Burke of Lake Havasu City, AZ and Donna Kay Narvaez and her husband Oscar of Las Cruces, NM and granddaughters Trisha, Stacy and Lorrianna Narvaez. Private services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Don's name to the Polidori House 1970 Bahama Ave Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403.
