Obituary of Steven Wayne Speck

Steven Wayne Speck passed away peacefully at home on Feb. 22, 2022. He was born in Dallas, Texas to Annabell and Delvin Speck on September 20, 1951. He graduated from El Dorado high school in Placentia, California. He then went on to obtain a bachelors degree in Business in 1969 from Cal State Fullerton University. Steve married his soul mate and best friend Melodie on September 26th, 1987 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was later employed by several dental manufacturing companies, before retiring from Proma Corp as a general manager in 2012. Steve was a man of many talents, who enjoyed sand drag racing and hot boats. He is preceded in death by his father Delvin Speck and survived by his loving wife of 34 years Melodie and his dog Hannah of Lake Havasu City, AZ. His mother Ann Speck of Murrieta, CA, and two brothers Scot Speck of Sugar Grove, IL and Mark Speck of San Jacinto, CA. Steve will be missed greatly by family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you donate to Alzheimer’s Association and Western Arizona Humane Society. Arrangements were placed into the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
