Dean William Bemiss January 6, 1968 - January 30, 2022 Dean William Bemiss was born and raised in Southern California. Growing up, he enjoyed many camping and dirt bike trips with parents, Dave and Bonnie Bemiss, and sister, Teri. In high school, Dean enjoyed wrestling and street drag racing his Nova. Dean loved most anything motorsport related and applied it towards a career in automotive technology throughout high school and college, where he received his ASE certification. After moving to Lake Havasu City in 1998, Dean later applied his skills to the performance marine industry. He was an honest and meticulous mechanic who took a lot of pride in his work. Dean was a fun friend to have with an imaginative sense of humor and was very young at heart. Family time was always very important to him, and he enjoyed Sunday dinners with his parents, his sister, nephew, Cameron, brother-in-law, Keith, and his sons, Logan and Drake Bemiss. He also enjoyed weekly trap and skeet shooting sessions with his parents and sons. His two boys were his best friends, and they all loved spending time with each other, no matter the activity. Dean fought his soft tissue sarcoma for over a year before passing away peacefully with his loved ones at his side. He is and will be dearly missed. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 19, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home. Arrangements were placed into the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
