Maxwell Kupferberg 84, passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at Prestige Assisted Living in Lake Havasu City, AZ. Born in Albany, NY, he moved with his family to Syracuse after he served in the Coast Guard during WWII. He was retired from Carrier Corporation, where he worked for 38 years and also owned and operated Max's Air Conditioning until 2005. He re-located to Lake Havasu City in June of this year. He was predeceased by his wife Rita in March 2011. He is survived by his two daughters, Ann Kupferberg of Baldwinsville, N.Y. and Marcia (Al Loxley) Kupferberg Turner of Lake Havasu City, AZ, and grand dogs Daisy, Montana, Molly and grand kittens Will and Kate.. The family of Max would like to express their sincere heartfelt appreciation to Charlene Pruden & her Team of Expressions at Prestige Assisted Living, New Hope Hospice, Hospice of Havasu, Pro Therapy, Apismellis Home Care, Dr. Lonial and Liska's Apothecary for all their care and love they so freely gave to Max, also Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home. Donations, in his memory, may be made to the Western Arizona Humane Society, Alzheimer's Dementia/Connection of Havasu or Havasu Community Health Foundation.
