Ralph Edmond Gansert passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at his residence in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the age of 85. Ralph was born on September 6, 1927 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Ralph and Uretha Gansert. Ralph enlisted in the United States Navy proudly serving his Country for 8 years. Ralph and his wife, Edna moved to Lake Havasu City 25 years ago. He was also a member of the Mason's. Ralph is survived by his son Richard P. James and his wife Vicki of Dumfries, VA; daughters Jayme Van Dewater and her husband Jody of Sturgis, SD, Ellen Stogdill and her husband Chris of Greenwood, IN and Everetta Woods and her husband Daniel of Austin, TX; 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 22 years Edna, who passed away on September 20, 2001. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 8, 2012 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 PM with Pastor Chaplain Kathy Kenney officiating. Interment will follow at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens with Military Honors conducted by the Lake Havasu Detachment # 757 of the Marine Corps League.
