I just found out today about Becky passing away. I am so shocked. Becky came to our high school senior year and we instantly became best friends. We had some wild times, and so much fun zooming around in her convertible VW Rabbit. We were both a little bit on the outside of things, but we accepted each other for who we were. I admired Becky's energy and confidence. We laughed so hard and her friendship meant the world to me, as I was someone who didn't really fit in back then. Shooting pool, going to the beach, prom, grad night and so many other memories. I think of Becky often, when I'm asked about my high school days. We hadn't really been in touch since then, so my memories are from long ago. It looks like she had a beautiful full life with family and friends who loved her dearly. Rest In Peace Becky.

I spent most of my free time in the latter part of High school with Becky. I slept over at her house which became a ritual as we played team sports after school. Before we became such good friends I have to admitted, I was insanely jealous of her athletic abilities. She was quicker and stronger and faster than I was which drove me mad. So one day we decided to fight one another outside the HS class rooms at Woodcrest. After a few quick punches to the face...we settled down and went back to class. I remember Ms Hall noticing the red bumps on our faces...after that fight...we became very close friends. Pretty much inseparable. Her father Robert even gave me a job at the nursery he owned. Becky taught me so much about life. Plants and adventure! Beck knew every name to every plant and tree...She was driven to work hard and earn every penny. We shared our love for poetry and music. Singing Me and Bobby Mcgee or Summertime by Janis Joplin was an everyday thing...my family loved Becky so much. She became very close to my mom.... (I've spent much time lately thinking about her and Becky together in Heaven-and Becky finally getting to be with her own Mom again) Years past and we moved to different areas of California but we always kept in touch...one of our conversations over the last 5 years was Becky earnestly trying to convince me to have a baby...no matter how I'd get it done she just would not drop the subject she was so intent on the fact that I had to experience what it was like to raise a child because she said that it was the most meaningful experience she has ever had in her life. I remember getting almost annoyed with that convo...I told her I was trying but that we weren't exactly ready for it quite yet. And now years later my wife and I are due with our baby boy today! I really owe it to Becky that I even took the step to mae this happen for our family...Becky was my hero, she was my sister, I looked up to her so much (please don't tell her that) and I just always thought she'd be here... Her love for her wife and boys, and the Lord is so inspiring. I am moved with how selfless she is and her sweet servant heart to help others... Becky...I love you... I was so excited to share my little one with you--please intercess for us--our hearts are broken without you here--although I have peace knowing your with the Lord...
