Hi Mom. I'm saddened I didn't get a chance to say goodbye to you. You always told me growing up, "When did I ever tell you life was fair?" Yep, indeed Mom, indeed. I'm glad we did get to spend some time together in recent years. Attending my second wedding, a random baseball game, a Mother's Day lunch here and there. Although our meetings were brief, I did value the time we had together. I hope you did too. Take care in the afterlife. Maybe we will get to meet again in a different realm.
Rest easy.
Love,
Dawn
