Obituary of Randal Johnson
Please share a memory of Randal to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Our beloved son, brother, and father, Randal Lavern Johnson, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 18, 2021, he was 65 years old.
His earthly father, LaVerne Everett Johnson, went ahead of him to heaven in December of 2020. He is survived by his mother, Frances Johnson of Lake Havasu City, brothers Gary (Ann) Johnson, Steve (Jill) Johnson, Bryan (Linda) Johnson, sister Connie (Ernie) Johnson Blackwell, sons Lee Everett Johnson and Eric Abram Johnson, four grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
"Randy" as he was known to his friends and family was a special guy. He was the life of any party, always spoke his mind, but above all you could count on him to be there if you needed him. He could be generous to a fault with those he loved dearly. He lived in Lake Havasu City for many years with his parents, caring for their needs as their health changed. He survived a double lung transplant in 2016, but in the end it was too much for his body to take, and he passed peacefully at his home where he was the most comfortable. Like his dad, he was a great handyman, not too many tasks left undone when he was around. He was amazing in the workshop, from pens and decorative bottle stoppers and clocks to furniture pieces, all beautiful workmanship. We will always remember him for his laughter, his jokes and his direct and candid conversations. Although we will miss him, he will be a fun and comical addition to God's Kingdom. Thank you, Randy, for fighting the good fight for so long, you were and always will be loved.
Service will be held at Lamb of God Lutheran Church on Sunday October 24, 2021 at 2PM.
