Plant a Tree Tribute to Terry. Like a tree, this is not the end but a new beginning. Plant a Tree works through non-profit conservation, planting trees in U.S. National Forests, under the direction, and with the support of, the U.S. Forest Service. A tree will be planted in Terry's name in Arizona. The program focuses on public lands which have been destroyed by forest fires, insects, natural disasters, etc., and they restore indigenous tree species where they are needed most to once again create vibrant natural habitats and fully functioning ecosystems. This tree is a unique and symbolic memorial gift which will last for generations and benefit wildlife.

In special memorial tribute, and loving memory, a new living tree will be planted in Terry's name in Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest - Arizona, a forest in desperate need. This will help to reforest areas that have been damaged by wildfire, pests, disease, and natural disasters. This living tree will help create clean drinking water and wildlife habitat. Dear Cindi, Erik, Jake and family: I am so sorry for your loss, I hope all the wonderful memories will help sustain you through this difficult time. I went to school with Terry in Los Lunas, NM, and we all graduated together, it was a great time for all of us! I remember Terry and his best friend, Robert Hedrick very well, if there was fun to be had, you always looked for these guys, and that was usually a good thing! Usually . . . BJ and Gary, I am so sorry for your loss! I will always remember your family fondly, not just because of Terry, but also having had the opportunity to get to know each of you, not just as students, but also through your Mom, having worked with her at LLMS. She was a wonderful person, a wonderful role model and each of you have so many of her qualities. She was so proud of each of you, she loved you all dearly! My Blessings to each of you . . . may you find peace in the coming days, keeping Terry close to your heart, through the memories and the love you all shared!!! Paul T. Luna

Thank you "Mr. Luna" (you'll always be Mr. Luna to me). I miss him every day as evidenced by me browsing his obit almost a year later. Thank you, again.
