Obituary of Richard John Mouchka

Richard John (Dick and affectionally know as Dickie Doo) Mouchka, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 28, 2021 at his home in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Dick was born and graduated high school in Belle Plaine, Iowa, the son of Charley and Opal Mouchka. He served the Army in Alaska and then returned to Marengo, IA, where he farmed, fed cattle and became an entrepreneur.
He leaves behind his soul mate of 39 years, Earlene Schafbuch McCaw. Dick is also survived by his 4 sons and their wives - Kory and Carol McCaw of Sierra Vista, AZ; Chet and Brenda McCaw of Marengo, IA; Vince and Jennifer McCaw of San Diego, CA; and Ryan and Patricia McCaw of Eldridge, IA. He was also blessed with seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, June Holston.
There will be a family celebration of his life at a later date.
His ashes will be brought back to the Marengo Cemetery upon the passing of his partner where their ashes shall remain “Together Forever.”
