Dear Pam, Michael and Family,
My deepest sympathy on the passing of Elsie. I met Elsie when she served on the board of directors for New Horizons. I would go to her house regularly for board business. She would tell me stories of her life, raising kids, flying, motorcycle trips, books she had written or helped write and illustrate, also stories written about her. She was fascinating to listen to as she talked, so explicit, so happy it showed in her eyes. In the 7 short years I knew Elsie, it was obvious she had a big heart, she loved to laugh, she loved life and everything in it, her family, traveling, working, home, helping those with special needs and more. It was an honor to know Elsie, she is someone I will always remember fondly.
