Obituary of Teresa Young

Teresa Young March 19, 1948 – June 9, 2021 Teresa Young, 73, passed away June 9, 2021 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. She was born March 19, 1948. She married the love of her life, Jim Young, in Las Vegas, Nevada, November 11, 1964. Together they were shared 56 years of marriage and were blessed with two sons, a daughter, eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She worked as a Librarian at Valley Elementary School. She taught Catechism to kindergarten and first grade children for 15 years then later also to teenagers. She was a Stephen Minister. Teresa and Jim moved to Arizona in 2006. Teresa loved family gatherings, playing Yahtzee, doing puzzles, painting ceramics and teaching others to paint. Teresa was preceded in death by her husband Jim, her son Mike and her sister Nancy Allen. She is survived by her son Bill, her daughter Jenniffer, her brothers, Tom and John Millard, her sisters Cindy Gray and Florence Philips, her eight grandchildren and her four great-grandchildren. Teresa’s Memorial Service will be held Monday, June 21, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home. Services were entrusted to the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
