Nicholas (Nick) Mull passed away at the age of 69 on May 4th, 2021 after a battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Nick was born to Edward and Barbara Mull on February 27th, 1952 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He attended Reading Memorial High School in Reading, Massachusetts and graduated in 1970 as the student body president and their “fearless leader.” Nick moved to southern California to attend Cerritos Junior College and later received his bachelor’s degree from The University of Phoenix. He was the City Manager of both Cudahy, CA and Calais, ME where he had the opportunity to pursue his passion to represent the community. His love for community service began with his job working for the city of Cerritos in the Parks and Recreation department. Nick was a proud husband, father to three children and grandfather to four grandchildren. He was a loving family member and best friend to many. His love for sports, especially the New England Patriots will never be forgotten. Nick built such a strong circle of influence in which his love, sarcasm, relentless pursuit for civil rights, his moral compass and his memories will all live forever. Nick is survived by his devoted wife Donna, two sons, Eric Mull (Sara) and Donald Mull, daughter Nichole Burnett (Michael), brother Daniel Mull (Kathleen), four grandchildren Ethan, Everly, Camdyn and Leighton and many adoring friends and family members. Nick’s celebration of life will be held at The Harbor Room at Havasu Springs Resort in Parker, Arizona on August 14th, 2021 from 11am-2pm. In lieu of flowers, Nick’s family kindly requests donations to be made in his name to a Parkinson’s foundation. Services were entrusted to the care of Lietz Fraze Funeral Home.
