Obituary of Ralph Waldo Lupien
Please share a memory of Ralph to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Ralph was born on August 17, 1940 in Newton, Massachusetts, to Waldo and Dorothy Lupien. He is a graduate of Newton High School and attended some college classes over many years. He was employed in the Lupien Tree Service family business for many years before he moved to Lake Havasu City in January 1970 with his new wife, Christine, of 3 months. They owned and operated a new 4-unit apartment building for 4 years and continued to manage it for the new owners for 2 years after selling it. During the summer of 1971, Ralph was part of the crews dredging the channel under the newly-constructed London Bridge and building a sea wall. In late 1971, they established a retail patio furniture store which they owned for 7 years. During that time their beloved daughter, Cynthia or “Cindy”, was born. Ralph’s working career after that included a roof re-whitening business, building and selling 6 lovely homes as a city-licensed Developer, dabbling a little in real estate and some sales of various products. Ralph had many interests during his life including music, both listening to and playing it, ham radio, salt water fish, and building construction and renovation. He had numerous friends over the years and enjoyed their company very much.
Ralph is survived by his wife of 51 years, Christine, their daughter, Cynthia of Youngstown, Ohio, and his brother Herbert and family of Newton Upper Falls, MA. He was pre-deceased by his parents Waldo and Dorothy and his brother Russell.
Ralph and his wife have been active members of Abundant Grace Assembly of God Church for just under 21 years.
Donations in Ralph’s name may be made to Abundant Grace Assembly of God Church or to Hospice of Havasu.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
