Gerald McGinnis March 1, 1949 – May 9, 2021 Gerald “Jerry” McGinnis, 72, passed away May 9, 2021 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Jerry was born March 1, 1949 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to George and Isabel McGinnis. Jerry married the love of his life, Joanne at St. Gabriel’s Parish in Norwood, Pennsylvania, August 21, 1971. Together they were blessed with 49 ¾ years of marriage, two children and two grandchildren. Jerry was a CDL truck driver. He has enjoyed the last 16 years of retirement in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He enjoyed the company of friends of family. He was a member of the VFW, Moose Lodge and the American Legion. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Isabel and George McGinnis, Sr. and his brother George “Mickey” McGinnis, Jr. He is survived by his wife Joanne McGinnis, his son Aries McGinnis, his daughter Joanna Nee (Jim) and his grandchildren, Jacob and Alex Nee. He was loved by countless family and friends. Donations can be made in Jerry’s name to the VFW and the local Heart Association. Visitation and Funeral Service to be held Friday, May 14, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home. Services were entrusted to the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
