Adrian “Ace” Goedhart, 74 of Lake Havasu City, AZ passed away on March 6, 2021. Ace passed away due to COVID 19 complications. Ace Goedhart was born on August 27, 1946 in the Netherlands to Adrian and Cornelia Goedhart. He was drafted to the US Army where he served in the Vietnam War from 1966-1968. Not long after he was honorably discharged, he met his wife Dee. They were about to celebrate 52 years of marriage. Ace was a loyal, hard worker his entire life. The majority of his life he was a truck driver with his last place of employment being West Coast Sand & Gravel. In the late 70’s Ace moved his family to Sunnyside, Washington where he bought a farm and tried new things. He worked on the farm, milked cows on several dairies, and enjoyed driving school buses in the afternoon for his kids’ Christian school. In the early 80’s, he moved his family back to Bellflower, CA where he went back to driving trucks. Ace leaves behind his wife Dee, his daughters Tiffany Weaver and Heather Owens, his son Adrian Goedhart, and his dog Jackpot. Ace was fortunate to have 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Ace also has one surviving brother, Gerry Goedhart. After Ace beat his battle with cancer in 2013, he and his wife moved to Lake Havasu to enjoy life of retirement. He loved the lake and to be around people. He was one of the kindest humans you could ever meet. He enjoyed spending time with his family, boating, fishing, gambling, and walking the channel daily with his dog Jackpot, who was known for wearing sunglasses. They loved putting smiles on people’s faces. Ace’s firm belief in Jesus Christ made him the amazing man that he was. Services were entrusted to the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Thoughts and condolences can be sent to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com.
