Obituary of Jacquelyn Anne Goehle

Jacquelyn “Jackie” (Marchetti-Sacco) Goehle, 86 of Lake Havasu City, AZ passed away on April 5, 2021. As she prepared for the final exit from this life into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus she was surrounded with her daughters at her side with loving memories and prayers. Jackie was born January 17, 1935 to Roy and Angeline (Andreuzzi) Marchetti in Hazleton, Pa. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first loving husband of 44 years, Frank (Sonny) Sacco and her late loving second husband of 17 years, Warren Goehle, who went home to be with the Lord on January 3, 2021. Also, preceding her in death, her brother, Roy Marchetti Jr. She is survived by her sister Rosanne (Marchetti) Bonafair and her brother-in-law Philip Bonafair of Hazleton, PA., her five daughters, who were like gold to her, Laurie Price and her husband Walt of Arizona, Sharie Sacco and her wife Lynn of Delaware, Angela Allegretto and her husband John of California, Jill Giranda and her husband Tony of Pennsylvania, Francine Sacco-Galea and her husband Steve of Arizona, her loving granddaughters, Ashley Miller and her husband Jason Miller of Arizona, Cassie Dropinski of Arizona, the little love of her life, her great-grandson Levi Miller of Arizona, and several nieces and nephews. Jackie grew up helping her parents in the family business The Hour Bakery in Hazleton, Pa. She graduated from Hazleton High School and was active in the Hazleton Philharmonic. She went on to study at The New York Academy of Dramatic Arts where she excelled at acting and enjoyed her time in New York City. She was active in The Woman’s Unico Club and a member of Most Precious Blood Church. She moved to Lake Havasu City Arizona in 1992 to enjoy the sunny skies of Arizona. She worked as a receptionist at Today’s News Herald until she retired in 2001. She was active with Lake Havasu Soroptimist and was very involved with her church family, Our Savior Lutheran Church. Jackie had a generous and loving spirit and enjoyed Broadway plays, movies, reading music, playing cards with her weekly card club, and yoga. Most of all she enjoyed cooking and entertaining. Her smile, kindness and love for family and friends will be forever in our hearts. Services in Lake Havasu and Hazleton will be at a later date.
